Basic Functions: Participate in all day to day activities involved within our Mitigation Department and assist as needed in our Reconstruction Department.
Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Structural Mitigation: emergency response to property damages primarily from water, fire, mold, and storm. Work includes water extraction, set up of containment, structural demolition, set up and monitoring of drying equipment, moving and hauling furniture and contents, structural cleaning, and other tasks specific to mitigating damages primarily from water, fire, mold, and storm.
- Contents Mitigation: emergency response to personal property damages primarily from water, fire, mold, and storm. Work includes assessing damages to personal property, inventorying and documenting of items, packing and unpacking of items, moving furniture and boxed items, loading & unloading trucks, and detailed cleaning of items.
- Reconstruction assistance: emergency service board up, stabilization, and/or tarping, structural demolition, moving furniture, carrying and delivering materials, assisting carpenters, etc.
- Represent Paul Davis Restoration through the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Assist in all general labor tasks around the shop.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.

Schedule:
- M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM
- Overtime opportunities
- On-call rotation (1 week / every 4 weeks)
- Available for catastrophic events and large project needs
- Weekends when needed or when on call
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle to get to work
- Pass a federal background check with no felonies back to the age of 18
- Pass initial and random drug tests (including for marijuana)
- Be able to proficiently learn and use technology for communication and documentation (ex: iPad, cell phones, etc...)
- Be able to lift and move 75 lbs
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
Experience:
- Restoration experience: preferred but not required
- Construction experience: preferred but not required
- Must be able to use basic hand and power tools (hammers, saws, drills, tape measure, etc...)
- Experience and skill level ties directly into what role you qualify for
- IICRC Certifications preferred but not required: WRT/ASD, FSRT, OCT, AMRT, TCST, and CDS
Compensation and Benefits:
- $20.00 - $30.00 / hr based on experience and skill level
- Higher hourly pay while on-call
