Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):
- Assists in the photographing and mapping of homes and businesses affected by a fire, flood, storm, or other disasters.
- High-level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
- Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
- You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
- Create 3D scans of homes and businesses in the field with a Matterport Pro2 Camera and an iPad.
- Matterport is the standard for 3D space capture. Their all-in-one platform transforms real-life spaces into immersive digital twin models. So much more than panoramic scans, Matterport empowers people to capture and connect rooms to create truly interactive 3D models of spaces.
- Be on the forefront of technology adoption in the restoration industry by uploading property scans for Mitigation and Reconstruction Estimators.
- Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through various technological platforms.
- Training for property sketching and estimate writing.
- Responsible for keeping own schedule as new jobs come in. Prioritize as needed.
- Responsible for uploading scans to software and ordering sketches of the properties scanned.
Physical Demands:
- May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull.
- Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme heat.
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent times.
- Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
- Time Management skills are a must.
- Camera/lighting experience is a plus.
- Computer experience is a must.
- Organizational skills are a plus.
- Great eye for detail.
