Position: Warehouse Lead

Reports To: Director of Operations

What does a Warehouse Lead with Paul Davis do?  

The warehouse Supervisor is responsible for keeping the warehouse operating at or below budget. Overseeing warehouse activities and vendor reporting.

The list of competencies is not all inclusive and may expand to include other areas of responsibilities as Owner may deem necessary from time to time: 

  • Manage operational standards and compliance to Warehouse and Inventory KPIs
  • Train, develop and retain warehouse guidelines and personnel within company guidelines
  • Oversee receiving and inventory levels for all Emergency Response Vehicles
  • Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
  • Monitor Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other small machinery
  • Get results and set proper expectations for others 
  • Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software
  • Able to operate forklift and cherry picker equipment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Shift: Monday - Friday
Work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
Weekends upon request
Education: No Degree Required

Team Qualifications (Requirements): 

  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
  • Proficient with variety of current technology and software programs
  • Career emphasis on learning and continuing education
  • Sound planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Skills Desired of Team Member:

  • Prior experience in distribution and picking systems preferred
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Self-motivated to get results 
  • Effectively schedules ahead while maintaining flexibility 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Is sufficient and professional with written communication 
  • Enjoys working hard and putting together agreements
  • Serve others within your community in their time of need
Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis
  • Ability to push/pull up to 300 lbs. of product using a four-wheel dolly/hand truck
  • Ability to stand, bend, turn, twist, pull and push
