Experienced Mitigation Technician

Paul Davis Restoration is looking to hire an experienced Mitigation Technician for Water, Fire, and Mold - to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve others within your community in their time of need
  • Make a difference for others that have had a disaster strike their property
  • Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e. mitigating flood and fire damage)
  • Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology
  • Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity.
  • Adequately records the scope of work to be accomplished.
  • Efficiently performs and supervises work on Emergency Water Services (to include extraction, developing drying plans, placing traps, and providing project documentation and photos).
  • Execute and supervise work on Mold Remediation (including demolition and cleaning).
  • Communicate with Management & Customers.
  • Setting up the work vehicle prior to arriving and leaving the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
  • Maintain a relationship with adjusters and communicates with updates as needed.
  • Work closely with Mitigation Coordinator.
  • Completes and submits daily service reports as required.
  • Performs on-call rotation as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Ability to operate tablet electronic device and work within online applications
Job Requirements
  • Able to lift at least 50 and up to 75 pounds on occasions.
  • Able to work in confined spaces when needed.
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Able to work around a variety of chemicals without any adverse reaction or sensitivity
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Able to climb a ladder.
  • Able to participate in the on-call rotation
  • IICRC certifications preferred, but not required. 
  • Required High School diploma or equivalency,
  • Valid Driver’s License and a copy of current driving history issued by DMV.
