QUICK OVERVIEW – TL;DR
We are hiring a Mitigation Project Manager to run water, fire, contents, and mold projects end-to-end – owning customer experience, field execution, documentation, budgets, and claim compliance. This is a high-accountability role with meaningful upside tied to performance.

THE WHY
Great mitigation PMs restore calm and control. They move quickly, document correctly, and coordinate people and vendors so projects close fast and customers feel supported.

THE WHERE
Opportunities in both New York and New Jersey (Metro NY/NJ). Field-based roles require travel across NYC and Northeast NJ as needed.

THE ROLE – WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
·         Manage mitigation projects from first notice of loss through dry-out and transition to reconstruction (as applicable).
·         Conduct inspections, set scopes, create job plans, and coordinate crews/equipment/vendors.
·         Own documentation and compliance: moisture logs, photos, daily notes, equipment logs, work authorizations, and TPA/carrier requirements.
·         Communicate proactively with customers, property managers, and adjusters; resolve issues quickly and professionally.
·         Manage job budgets, change conditions, and timeline expectations; drive cycle time and closeout discipline.
·         Work closely with estimators and the back office to ensure complete billing support and faster collections.
·         Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response as needed.

WHO THRIVES HERE
·         High ownership: you treat every file like it is your name on the door.
·         Process discipline: you document and communicate before problems become surprises.
·         Commercial mindset: you protect margin, control vendors, and keep jobs moving.
·         Empathy + professionalism: customers remember how you show up on their worst days.

REQUIRED / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
·         Required: Valid driver's license; strong communication; comfort with tech and field tools; ability to manage multiple projects at once.
·         Preferred: Restoration/mitigation PM experience; IICRC certifications; familiarity with Xactimate/Symbility/DocuSketch; TPA/commercial claim experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
·         Competitive base salary ($65-85K) plus commissions/incentives tied to profit, production and overall performance. Total Compensation potential is $150K+.
·         Benefits package, including PTO, 401(k) with match, medical reimbursement, and training/development support.
