Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. This role focuses on building and maintaining a robust sales book through direct, face-to-face engagement with key decision-makers, including Property Managers, Insurance Agents, Commercial Maintenance Managers, and other relevant stakeholders. The Sales Associate will proactively identify sales opportunities, promote our comprehensive restoration services, and establish strong client relationships to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a sales pipeline by identifying and targeting potential clients, including Property Managers, Insurance Agents, and Commercial Maintenance Managers, within assigned territory.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to properties and offices to build relationships, assess client needs, and present tailored solutions for water damage mitigation, contents cleaning, restoration, storage, and reconstruction repair.
- Educate clients on the full scope of our services and how we address fire, water, and storm damage losses for commercial buildings, multi-family residential properties, and single-family homes.
- Manage and maintain a consistent route schedule to maximize client contact and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the restoration team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction, acting as a liaison between clients and operational staff.
- Track and report sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward goals using CRM software.
- Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and association meetings to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market conditions to position our services effectively.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in property restoration, insurance, or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a sales route effectively.
- Knowledge of property management, insurance processes, or commercial maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical services related to water damage mitigation, contents restoration, and reconstruction repair.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel within the assigned territory is required).
- Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory, including walking, standing, and occasionally lifting promotional materials (up to 25 lbs).
