The Commercial Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals and accounts to promote commercial business.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Establish a current list of property and facility managers within commercial buildings/facilities
- Cold calling prospective business by emails, phone calls and in person introductions
- B2B sales to customers in the commercial property space who utilize restoration services to support their facilities
- Schedule in person meetings with prospective commercial business accounts
- Maintain and grow current commercial business relationships
- Submit and maintain a log of weekly activities and meetings scheduled
- Plans, develops and establishes sales policies, principles and procedures
- Maintain a commercial client contact log and pipeline
- Coordination, attendance and promotion of all company events relating to marketing
- CE classes
- Commercial Seminars
- Lunch and Learn Seminars
- Trade Shows
- Community Events
- Assist Project Supervisors with coordination of information on key projects
- Track all sales data in our main operating system, RMS
- Generate a monthly lead count, job count
- Generate a monthly individual sale on estimates and commercial sales
- Generate monthly sales data for individuals, departments, and divisions
- Creation of a weekly loss report and lead report
- Maintain company’s CRM
- Work with PDRI Regional Marketing Managers to promote and marketing your local office
- Conduct market research and assist with lead generation
- Participate in staff meetings
- Attend company trainings and conferences
- All other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two plus years’ experience in an outside sales (B2B) role
- One plus years’ experience in a Customer Service role
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate Degree or bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Experience in the Facility Service, Restoration, Construction, or Insurance industry
Physical Requirement
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- Must be able to sit 50% of the time during business development prospecting
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and in person
- Must be able to stand on a hard surface for up to 100% of the time
- Occasionally will lift up to 10lbs
Work Environment
The employee will be working indoors. The employee will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office and events. The employee will be occasionally working outdoors on job sites and/or events. The employee will be exposed to outside temperatures.
Travel
Local travel based on job requirements. Travel (local) may be up to 70%.
