Reports To: Owner
 
Restoration Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RE, you will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form.

Role on the Team (Job Functions):
  • Write detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate and Symbility
  • Prepare estimates for both restoration projects and remodeling projects
  • Clearly communicate expectations with project manager and adjuster, onsite as needed
  • Perform on-site inspections to develop an accurate scope of work
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding pricing, scope, and revisions
  • Document with photos, measurements, and detailed notes to support estimates
  • Ensure estimates comply with insurance carrier guidelines and industry standards

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience writing estimates for restoration projects (resulting from fire and water damage) and remodeling projects
  • Strong proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility is a must
  • Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Highly organized and professional

Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.  You must also have a valid drivers license, and consent to a background check.
