We're seeking a meticulous Job Cost Accountant to ensure the accurate and timely closure of jobs. As a critical member of our accounting team, you'll oversee job cost reviews, reconcile financial accounts, and support our operations teams in maintaining compliance and completeness. Responsibilities:

Review job costs for completeness and compliance before closing
Post journal entries and transactions necessary for job closure
Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
Enter transactions to maintain accurate financial records
Collaborate with AP to process overhead expenses and transactions
Manage purchase orders and coordinate material draw payments
Communicate effectively with vendors and team members
Other duties as assigned to support financial operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
Prior experience in construction job costing a plus
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong Excel skills for spreadsheet optimization
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and service-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Upholds high standards of confidentiality, integrity, and honesty

Compensation: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
